Whether you are a believer or not, the natural untouched feature of this slab is undeniable in it's image.
This Maple Slab is uniquely proportionate as the top is virtually the same width as the bottom while it gently tapers inward towards the middle. The edges slope dramatically through the center portion of the slab and tend to be nonexistent towards the top and bottom. The grain in the bottom 3/4 of the slab has a flaming characteristic and ant trails with spalt and color variations are features at the top.
This piece is 23" wide at the base, 17" wide in the middle, and 24" wide at the top. It is 158" long and 2" thick. The back of this is currently not planed.
